I just had to share this wonderful clip from an Abe workshop in  Dublin, 2008. In it, the person in the "hot seat" asks Abe, "What's the best question a person could ask." They offer a simple direct answer, related to increasing sensitivity to emotion and alignment. They encourage us to "let negative emotion be such an anomaly that is sticks out like a sore thumb."

Enjoy!

The Best Question

Every two weeks I have the fun of receiving a new workshop CD in the mail and every time I listen to the latest, I think "Wow, this one is the best. They just keep getting better and better!"  Well, this recent CD seems to top them all. The Asheville session was jam-packed with juicy segments. The ten minute segment below has so much useful info in it that I could probably listen to it a dozen more times, at least. You have to listen to it for yourself! The rest of the workshop was just as great.

Track 3:  Brush unwanted thoughts away?

Wow! Already time for another meeting. We will be getting together at 6:15 this evening. Let me know if you need a reminder about the location.

I am really excited about tonight's content. We will be listening to the workshop CD from Boston, Oct. 2009. It has some really great, specific descriptions of how our energy is affecting our outcomes. Here is a link to a great discussion about this CD, including transcriptions of some of the best segments http://www.theabeforum.com/forum2/15553.html

At our last meeting, we listened to a question about the "Miracle on the Hudson." This was a really interesting segment that challenged the beliefs of the questioner and surprised the audience. One of my favorite LOA bloggers, Jeanette Maw, recently wrote about this dialogue here: http://goodvibeblog.com/2010/02/the-thing-about-training-for-trouble/
If there is enough interest this evening, maybe we will listen to this segment again.

Looking forward to some good discussions. Hope to see you there!

Happy New Year! 12/30/2009

Well, December has just flown by! I hope you have all been enjoying the season. Just a couple more days and we'll be heading into 2010.

This seems like the perfect time to savor some of the highlights of the year gone by: an exciting Abe cruise in February, the evolution of Allow Happiness, the emergence of this discussion group, etc. There were so many wonderful experiences and interactions in 2009, both in person & online.

This is also the time to look forward and consider new intentions for the upcoming year. I envision this group growing and strengthening in the months ahead. I'll be looking forward to hearing what this would look like for each of you.

For Christmas, I received one of the best gifts an "Aber" could ask for ~ the entire Law of Attraction in Action DVD series. I'm thinking it could be fun to watch these as a group. Maybe one meeting a month, watch & discuss a video and the other meeting we could continue with our current practice of listening to the most recent, leading edge workshops on CD. When we meet again, January 11th, we can discuss this as a group & decide what direction we want to go.

Thanks again to all of you that have been coming to meetings & offering input. I really appreciate getting to know you and being able to share this amazing material with all of you.

Happy New Year! See you soon ~ Sabrina

First off, I would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to our wonderful meeting hostess, Robin! I hope today was filled with love & laughter.  I'm looking forward to hearing about your birthday festivities & your dreams for the upcoming year.

Next, I need to make some changes to our December meeting schedule. Seems that this is a pretty hectic month for most. It has been suggested that we take a brief break and resume in the new year. Works for me! I'll adjust the calendar.

At our recent meeting, on Nov. 30th, we listened to the workshop from Boston that was held on June 20, 2009. I've uploaded the audio to our "Members Only" page. If you would like to access that page & you don't already have the password, drop me an email and I will send it to you.

Enjoy the season. Make it everything that you want it to be! I will be looking forward to seeing you all again in January 2010.

Fondly~Sabrina

I just wanted to take a moment to share this wonderful video about appreciation, as we head into the Thanksgiving weekend. Appreciation is a key concept in the Abraham-Hicks material. They teach that we are most in alignment with our essential self when we are in a state of appreciation.

I am so appreciative to have met so many interesting, insightful people through this group. Thank you for being in my life and thank you for sharing this process of learning, growing and playing. I am looking forward to our meeting next Monday and hearing about how each of you allowed your connection to appreciation this week. Enjoy the beautiful fall weather. It's gorgeous out there!  ~Sabrina

Our Abraham-Hicks discussion group will be meeting again, tomorrow evening at 6:15pm. I'm looking forward to seeing our repeat members and meeting any new folks who are interested in learning more about this life-improving material.

As at every meeting, we will be listening to a recent workshop CD and discussing the information as it pertains to our own lives. Since this is audio only (no video), feel free to bring your doodle pad, knitting, or any other non-obtrusive thing you like to do while listening to spoken audio. It's a really laid-back environment.

If you are thinking of coming to your first meeting, please consider browsing through the previous posts, as they include information and links that you might find useful.

Have a great Monday! See you tomorrow.

Our meeting on Nov. 2, 2009 was a lot of fun. Three new people joined us for the evening and added insight and energy to our still-developing group. We listened to the Abe workshop from Philadelphia, PA  6/11/09. This information provided lots of interesting points which opened into a lively discussion.

As the group continues to form and members get to know each other, we are starting to share more examples from our own circumstances. It was exciting to explore ways we can apply this material to allow for more joy, contentment and fun in our lives.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 16th, at 6:15pm; would love to have you join us. Bring a flash drive if you would like a copy of the Workshop audio. For more information, contact me at HappinessFresno@gmail.com.

In the meantime, enjoy this great little clip called 'Feel Good Now, It's Important.'  It is about 9 minutes long.

I can't believe 2 weeks has already gone by. We'll be meeting tomorrow evening for our 2nd discussion group.

Interest in the group has been high & I'm hoping to see some new members show up. I know that some people take quite a few steps between expressing an intention to take an action and committing to seeing it through, though. So, whether there are 4 of us or 14, I plan on enjoying the dynamics that the group brings and learning from the perspectives of others.

If you are interested in checking us out, we will be meeting from 6pm-8pm, Monday, Nov. 2nd. Bring a flash drive if you would like a copy of the Workshop audio.

Contact me at HappinessFresno@gmail for location information.

Last night was our first get together for the new Abraham-Hicks discussion group. I am happy to report that everything went beautifully. We had a spacious, comfortable meeting area, thanks to our member, Robin. We were a small group, five of us, but this was plenty for an engaging interaction.

We listened to the Workshop CD from 08/17/08; one of my favorites! It included questions on a variety of topics and plenty of good laughs. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Check it out for yourself, if you are interested:

Several others have expressed an interest in joining us, so I hope to see even bigger groups in the near future. As a group, we decided to move to a slightly earlier meeting time, at least for the winter. For now, our groups will be held every other Monday, from 6-8pm.  All are welcome; would love to see you there. Contact me for more info.
